Have a legal question? We can help. Community Legal Information is a registered charity that helps residents of Prince Edward Island understand the law and navigate the justice system in the province.

What We Offer
You can contact us by email, by phone, or you can visit us in our office. We answer general legal questions. We provide support, information, and referrals to services. Legal information is free. Our team can help you in English and French.
Island lawyers volunteer to give short consultations for people who need basic legal advice. This service has a modest fee.
Free plain language legal publications in both official languages and some non-official languages are available online and in print.
We provide legal education workshops to groups and organizations. Any area of law can be requested. No fee for non-profit groups, though we do welcome donations.
